Description Position Title: Field Compliance Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Gulf Interstate Field Services, Inc. (GIFS) provides construction management, construction inspection, vendor inspection, environmental inspection, materials management, and other services for onshore and offshore, domestic and international, oil and gas transportation and storage projects.

Position Description
To enhance the relationship and communications between field employees and the organization, and monitor employee compliance to policies, programs and protocols.

Essential Functions
• Develop and manage client relationships at the field level.
• Develop and maintain relationships with field personnel and provide employee support by answering questions and responding to request.
• Visit project locations to communicate Company’s contractual and safety responsibilities.
• Assist in implementing HSE policies and program.
• Assist in monitoring Operator Qualification (OQ) compliance requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations as well as any other requirements that affect the pipeline construction industry.
• Assist in administering safety training and identify other training opportunities for field employees.

Qualifications
• 10 years of experience in the energy industry with knowledge of oil and gas pipeline and facility construction.
• Safety experience in construction environment.
• Training facilitation experience.
• Strong leadership, motivational skills and knowledge in quality and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of industry HSE and DOT/PHMSA Compliance Requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
