Description Position Title: Onboarding Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Position Description
The Onboarding Specialist provides support to the department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical office functions.

Essential Functions
• Provide administrative support to department managers and directors
• Provide guidance and administrative support other clerical members of the team
• Perform a wide range tasks using the computer
• Maintain files and other records
• Send candidates new hire instructional email
• Create New Hire Packet
• Conduct background checks and I-9 E-Verify
• Prepare and send onboarding kits (drug kits, safety vests etc.)
• Enter new hire packets into UltiPro
• Responsible for tracking and coordination of all paperwork associated with the onboarding of new hires and terminations of field employees
• Interface with field employees and client representatives


Qualifications
• 2-5 years’ work experience as an administrative assistant in a corporate work environment
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail oriented
• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Prior experience utilizing copier, fax, and other office machines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
