Description The Business Continuity Consultant provides consulting and strategic services to various business lines for leading, directing and implementing the organization's Business Continuity and Records Management initiatives; also includes development of administration procedures/process and identification of the business unit's disaster recovery planning and records management documentation. This role works under minimum supervision with focus on enterprise-wide programs and general latitude in decision-making responsibility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and participate with business units in designing, developing and implementing business continuity planning strategies to include BIA, Risk Assessments, Process Mappings, Business Continuity Plans, Call Tree Exercises, (manual and automated), Tabletop, Integrated, Pandemic, and Disaster Recovery Exercises and validation of each.

Help achieve superior marketing of the business continuity and records management programs, working to create value and increase acceptance and compliance at every opportunity. Manage, engage, create, implement and deliver training and presentations with enthusiasm, energy and effective communication.

Work directly with the Enterprise Records Management Program Manager to ensure that all areas of responsibility have someone assigned responsibility for records management. Work with business lines to help build and maintain a complete retention schedule. Assist in monitoring notices regarding program overview, retention schedule validation and hold notices and follow-up as appropriate for instances of no-response or non-compliance. Assist in ongoing over-sight of corporate records policy and program. Help achieve superior marketing of the records management program, working to create value and increase acceptance and compliance at every opportunity.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree
5 years of business continuity/disaster recovery experience
Business Continuity Certification (CBCP or other related certification)
